Can you be followed by e-mail? I didn't see it. I teach 2nd grade in NC. My best memory of 2012 was overcoming great personal and medical obstacles when I had emergency surgery with lots of roadblocks.

I was thinking back on 2012 and it wasn't the best year for me....I went through a divorce and looking back my marriage starting falling apart in February 2012 and it took all the way until the middle of September to be through everything. So I am definitely looking forward to an amazing 2013....I can only go up from here!!

My best memory for he year was going to dinner with my family. Time with them is time treasured. Please note I have 2 emails, one for blogger and one personal. Both have the same user name
ReplyDeleteMy best memory at school this year, was when one of my students greeted me in the morning by giving me a little side hug, and I teased him a little and said, "Oh I get a side hug today, huh?" and walked away and put his things away and came back over to me and wrapped his arms around me real tight and said "no you get a real hug, Miss Callahan" . . . it warmed my heart and made me want to cry. Those moments always remind me why I teach.

The best part of 2012 was finally getting my FIRST FULL TIME CLASSROOM! I'm teaching first grade, and I love it! But of course that means it's already been an expensive school year, as I started fresh at a brand new charter school with nothing but tables and chairs for the students.
