I enjoyed reading your guesses about my family. I have to say, I had a few good laughs thinking about what you were thinking when you were guessing.
Our family is very small in comparison to many other families I know back home. We learned about birth control after the grand-kids started having kids a bit young (not judging, we all made choices).
I swore never to do X and Y when I was young(er). The one and only thing I had ever wanted was to make my mom proud. She is! (I think).
You see... (I know you really want to know this about me)... daddy decided that being a father was not his thing, so he said good bye to me when I was about 5. I still remember that day. He never looked back.
I grew up with an amazing mother who taught me to work hard and never give up. As much I would have loved for my kids to have a maternal grandfather, he decided it was not worth it. His loss.
So, back to my family...
1 grandfather, 1 brother, 3 aunts, 1 uncle, 5 cousins, mom, and 8 nephews = 20.
Cherie, check your e-mail. You were right on.
How much shopping did you do this past week? I stayed home. I did some Black Friday shopping on line.
We celebrated Thanksgiving on Tuesday since the Mr. had to work. The kids and I relaxed. They go back to school tomorrow (thank goodness!) and I enjoyed having Thursday and Friday off.
Cyber Monday is almost here. My cart is full with amazing graphics from Ashley, who made this amazing button. She is very talented!
I have something almost done, but I am trying it with the kids first so I can edit and revise before presenting it to you.
Time to lesson plan for the week.
